Principles of Long-Term Business

Are you launching/working to last? What is the difference between activity and productivity? What are the components of a successful business? Who comes first, the crew, the captain or the final destination? Is it all down to the product, the service, the customer or maybe the answer is the price?

Are there certain principles of what makes a  business succeed on long term basis? Could those elements be applied by companies in order to create similar, predictable results?

You might have seen the numbers (Chet Holmes):

* a corporation fails every 3 minutes

* a directorship changes every 32 seconds

* a company changes control every 15 minutes

* 96 percent of all companies fail within 10 years

Are we all doomed to fail, or is there a way to guarantee success?
